Professional Biography
Being an avid skier, I moved to Colorado within weeks of completing my undergraduate degree. Since then I have earned two masters degrees and a PhD, raised two children, taught skiing and at community college, and finally landed at DU. I live in Eagle, in the heart of Colorado's ski country, and commute to Denver when school is in session

My research focuses on communicating quantitative analysis through information visualization, effective strategies for teaching quantitative analytics, and the equestrian sport of dressage.
