Professional Biography

Dr Schofield is Associate Professor of Hebrew Bible and Judaic studies, specializing in the Dead Sea Scrolls. She received a doctorate from the University of Notre Dame in the area of Hebrew Bible, Judaism in Antiquity, and Dead Sea Scrolls. Her Masters Degree is from the Johns Hopkins University in Near Eastern Studies: Hebrew Bible and Northwest Semitic languages. Dr. Schofield earned an Honors BA from the University of Utah in Middle East Studies: Hebrew Language and a BA in Spanish Language and Literature. She currently lives in Denver and when not teaching or writing enjoys a vast array of outdoor activities.
