What I do
The theme of our lab is the design of synthetic protein mimetics to investigate and modulate various biological processes that are mediated via protein-protein and protein-RNA interactions. Specifically, we are interested in the investigation of the structure and functions of aberrant PPIs/Protein-RNA interactions that are associated with various amyloid-related pathologies including neurodegenerative and organ-localized diseases. We use various biophysical and cellular assays to study these interactions.Specialization(s)
