Coaching Philosophy
While there is value in the skills and strategies learned with a Student Success Coach, I believe what makes coaching purposeful is the connections built with students as they move through a significant time in their lives. Sometimes the boost you need is knowing someone is in your corner, which is what I hope to be for my students. With a strength-based coaching approach, I value helping students strive toward the actualization of their capabilities. My performance psychology background comes in handy as I explore with students how they can best optimize their strengths to create action steps to reach goals.
