Coaching Philosophy

My student success coaching philosophy involves a person-centered and process-focused approach to learning and achievement. This means that I view my students as people first and students second! It also means that we’ll build smaller habits that can help facilitate your unique needs and academic goals. When we begin working together, we’ll discuss various topics, including current skills and strengths, past school experiences, cultural upbringing, values, and sense of self. During the coaching process, we’ll work to develop holistic life and academic skills that can transfer across different areas of life.

Coaching Specializations: I specialize in helping students with goal setting, attention and concentration, negative self-beliefs about school, and test and presentation anxiety.

Favorite Quote: “Do the best you can until you know better. Then, when you know better, do better.”
