Coaching Philosophy
I work with people to build awareness and have influence over their thoughts, feelings, and actions by building skills like confidence, motivation, focus, resilience, and beyond. My coaching blends science-backed goal setting, routines, and habits paired with deep listening and support without pressure. I work with you to equip tools you can use to improve your wellbeing and performance immediately while also helping you clarify the bigger picture of who you are, what you want, and how you're going to get it. At the heart of my work is one belief: that the point of life is to fully experience the range of thoughts and feelings, without getting lost in them — like watching a great main character in a movie and helping you realizing you get to be yours.
Favorite Quote: “It’s not who you think you are that holds you back — it’s who you think you’re not.”
Biography
I am a 2nd year Master’s student in Sport and Performance Psychology at the University of Denver. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University, where I worked in the Maniaci Lab for the psychology of close relationships — a foundation for his ongoing interest in helping people strengthen their relationship with themselves and, in turn, with others.
Before DU, I worked as a coach for a mental health tech company, supporting employees at companies like Rivian, Comcast, and American Eagle. Now, I am a cofounder of Northstar, a mental performance company that works with elite athletes, artists, and business leaders to help them be at their best when it matters most. I co-host The Northstar Method podcast, where I interview UFC fighters, Division 1 athletes, and other top performers to uncover the mental skills they use — and how anyone can apply them in everyday life.
What I enjoy doing outside of work & school: I love running, hiking, lifting, surfing, and making music. I am a big Tampa Bay sports fan, especially the Bucs and the Rays.
Fun Fact: I am bilingual and am proud to work with students in English or Spanish.
