Coaching Philosophy: I believe the purpose of coaching is to help students discover their strengths, navigate challenges, and feel empowered in their personal and academic journeys. My goal is to create a nonjudgmental space where students feel heard, supported, and encouraged to grow.

Biography: James grew up in Kansas City, Kansas, and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
Fun Fact: I’m gluten-free, so I’ve become an expert at finding the best GF snacks and restaurants.
What I enjoy doing: Outside of school, I enjoy getting active whether it’s running around Sloan’s Lake, exploring the mountains, or playing pickleball. I also love spending time with close friends, traveling to new places, and discovering local coffee shops.
