Professional Biography

Coaching Philosophy: I believe the purpose of coaching is to help students discover their strengths, navigate challenges, and feel empowered in their personal and academic journeys. My goal is to create a nonjudgmental space where students feel heard, supported, and encouraged to grow.
 
Biography: James grew up in Kansas City, and earned his undergraduate degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. During his time there, he was actively involved in Beta Theta Pi and the Clifton Strengths Institute, where he developed an interest in psychology and personal development. He is now pursuing a master’s in Counseling Psychology at the University of Denver, where he continues to explore how people grow, connect, and find meaning in their lives.

What I enjoy doing: Outside of school, I enjoy getting active whether it’s running around Sloan’s Lake, exploring the mountains, or playing pickleball. I also love spending time with close friends, traveling to new places, and discovering local coffee shops.
