Dr. Anne P. DePrince

Professional Biography
Dr. Anne P. DePrince serves as the Associate Vice Provost for Public Good Strategy and Research in Academic Affairs at the University of Denver. In that role, Anne supports the success of new and existing community-engaged initiatives and programs in academic departments, ensuring university-community collaboration for public good impact. A distinguished university professor of psychology, Anne is a community-engaged scholar, internationally recognized for her research on trauma and intimate violence. She previously directed the Center for Community Engagement to advance Scholarship and Learning (CCESL) over a ten-year period, supporting the growth and impact of community-engaged research, creative work, and teaching at DU. Anne earned her bachelors in psychology and history from Duke University, and her masters and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Oregon.
