Coaching Philosophy
When meeting with students, my focus is to help give them the tools necessary to succeed in academics, as well as empower them to be the best version of themselves. Success coach meetings are purely for the benefit of the student and can provide a place to freely talk about any concerns they may be having with school. I too have had past struggles with academics, and I know first hand how essential it is to have the necessary tools to succeed. That is why I emphasize empowering the student to use the available resources in a way that makes sense for them. I hope to assist any student with overcoming any challenges they may be facing in school, and help them achieve their goals.
Biography: I am a Master's Student in the counseling psychology program here at the University of Denver. I also recently graduated from Colorado State University this past year with a counseling psychology degree. Outside of school, I like to spend a lot of time staying active and spending time outdoors. This includes hiking, camping, skiing, and various team sports.
