The Public Good Celebration is an annual event hosted by the Office for Public Good Strategy & Research that celebrates university and community partners whose collaborative work advances the public good.

Community Engagement Photo Showcase Reception
2pm-5pm, CCOM Art Gallery
As part of the annual Public Good Celebration, the Center for Community Engagement to advance Scholarship & Learning (CCESL) hosted a celebration of community engagement through photos and accompanying stories submitted by fellow students, faculty, and staff.
Photos will be on display in the Community Commons Art Gallery, May 15 through June. The Community Commons (2055 E Evans Ave, Denver, CO 80210) is open Monday - Friday | 7:00 am - 10:00pm & Saturday & Sunday | 8:00 am - 10:00pm. -
Student Signature Work Showcase

Formerly known as the Undergraduate Research Showcase
The University of Denver's 2025 Student Signature Work Showcase celebrated student-led projects that advanced the discovery, integration, or application of knowledge. Students presented posters on their research and scholarship in an interactive session.

Growing Your Work & Impact: Resource Fair
3pm-5pm, CCOM Canyon
Students, faculty, and staff were invited to attend the Growing Your Work & Impact: Resource Fair to learn about resources to grow their community-engaged projects, from external fellowships and awards for students to funding for faculty research and creative work via.
The fair ran concurrently with the Student Signature Work Showcase (formerly known as the Undergraduate Research Showcase), which took place in the Community Commons Grand Forum (CCOM 1700).

Center for Immigration Policy & Research
The DU Center for Immigration Policy and Research (CIPR) is a multidisciplinary center that fosters collaborations between faculty, students, community partners, and policymakers on migration. CIPR focuses primarily on immigrant populations from Latin America, the Rocky Mountain West, and associated transnational dynamics of migration along three, interrelated pillars: (1) social; (2) economic; and (3) law and politics.

DU Undergraduate Research Journal
The DU Undergraduate Research Journal is an annual, peer reviewed publication of research articles from all undergraduate disciplines. The mission of DUURJ is to encourage, recognize, and celebrate intellectual activity that occurs outside of the classroom, though exemplary research conducted in classroom settings may also be displayed. DUURJ publishes only University of Denver student publications with student works ranging the entire spectrum of academic discipline. DUURJ is dedicated to academic integrity and furthering scientific discovery that publishing an academic journal represents. Equity STEM (E-STEM) Program
Established in 2017, Equity in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (E-STEM) is a DU academic success program serving first- through fourth-year undergraduates from historically underrepresented groups (students of color, first generation, women, etc.) in the STEM fields. The E-STEM program is founded on theory and best practices for guiding diverse STEM scholars to success through developing a strong STEM community at DU for historically underrepresented students, offering support and guidance, weekly success sessions, and intensive advising. Membership is open to anyone, though its organizational priorities and aims are fixed.

Office of Research and Sponsored Programs
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) works with faculty, researchers, university administrators, sponsoring agencies and collaborating universities/companies. Services include assistance with prospecting for external grant opportunities, research grant proposal development, project administration and financial reporting. Additionally, ORSP works with faculty, students and scholars on intellectual property issues, manages and protects University intellectual property, and conducts legal reviews of research agreements. ORSP ensures DU's research is compliant with the highest ethical and intellectual standards and prevents issues of scholarly misconduct and unethical research.

Office of Scholar Development & Fellowship Advising
The Office of Scholar Development & Fellowship Advising supports students and recent graduates develop as scholars through pursuing nationally and internationally competitive fellowships. We help students identify and apply to fellowships that can fund a purposeful activity, like study abroad, research, or public service, and aids them in reaching their academic and professional goals. You can schedule an advising appointment by visiting du.edu/fellowships. We are available in-person, on Zoom, and during term, interterm, and in the summer.

Social Justice Education (SJE) provides students with information, skills, and opportunities to critically engage around Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Justice (DEIJ) issues. Students can meet new people, develop marketable skills, and make positive change. Student Signature Work Grants
DU students connect their academic interests with problem-solving through mentored research, scholarly, and creative work – called signature work.
Through signature work, students:- Transfer learning from classes to projects that address complex problems of importance to the student and the public good;
- Have agency and play a key role in defining and carrying out projects in which they immerse themselves;
- Receive individualized mentoring.
At DU, students can receive funding for projects that advance the discovery, integration, or application of knowledge in new ways. Travel grants are also available for students to present their signature work at conferences. -
Student Success Coaching Program
The Student Success Coaching Program provides essential support for DU students through personalized guidance and resources tailored to their unique needs. Coaches help students identify and create an action plan for achieving their goals as well as helping discover their strengths, interests, and motivations.
