Angelica Ortiz

Focus: In her role as the Outreach & Communications Coordinator at CCESL, Angelica coordinates communication and marketing endeavors to foster community partnerships that connect university and community change-makers via Scholar Shop. The Scholar Shop connects students and faculty with community organizations to collaboratively tackle public issues through research and/or creative work.

Background: With a foundation in non-profit marketing communications and visual design, Angelica takes joy in connecting and empowering individuals through valuable shared experiences and resources. Her people-focused worldview and commitment to community involvement drove her active participation as a student. She completed her studies at the University of Denver, earning a B.A. in Emergent Digital Practices alongside concentrations in Marketing and French & Francophone Studies.
