Mental Health Services for Military Members, Veterans, and Their Families

The Sturm Center at the University of Denver offers compassionate, confidential mental health care for Veterans, Service Members (including Guard and Reserve) and their families. We welcome individuals from all military backgrounds, regardless of discharge status, era of service, or combat experience. Many of our therapists are Veterans/Service Members or come from military families.

  • Group therapy
  • Psychological assessments for VA claims, cognitive and learning disorders, and diagnostic clarification

  • Trauma, PTSD, and sexual trauma
  • Depression, anxiety, grief, and loss
  • Family, relationship, and parenting stress
  • Sleep problems, anger management, and occupational stress
  • Disability-related accommodations and discharge upgrades

Accessible and Affordable Care

We offer flexible scheduling, including evening hours. Our sliding-scale fees, acceptance of Medicaid, Medicare, and V.A. Community Care/TriWest, along with grant-funded support, ensure affordable access to care.
