Global Mental Health

How do we work together to advocate for mental health and thriving for all?

Re-imagining a world where communities thrive means paying attention to mental health. This LLC draws on global mental health perspectives to support students to build the knowledge and skills needed to collaborate and advocate for mental health initiatives – locally and globally.

Students who participate in the Global Mental Health LLC will:

  • Live with up to 22 similarly interested students in Johnson-McFarlane (J-Mac) or Dimond Family Residential Village (DFRV).

  • Learn together by enrolling in one 2-credit seminar for the Fall, Winter and Spring quarters.

  • Build community together with staff and faculty mentors through programming in and out of the classroom, including retreats, dinners, speakers, and active learning excursions.

  • Learn from and work with Lina M. Reznicek-Parrado the Faculty Mentor for this LLC.
